Geeks Callout London is proud to have successfully resolved a challenging case involving a MacBook model A1502 with liquid damage. Despite Apple’s refusal to repair the device, we were determined to provide a solution to our customer. We managed to repair the MacBook for under £350, offering a cost-effective option for the necessary repairs.
The liquid damage had a significant impact on the keyboard, requiring a replacement. Additionally, upon inspection, we discovered that the logic board was heavily affected by the liquid spill. To ensure transparency, we documented the damage with detailed photos of the MacBook (shared with customer), clearly showcasing the extent of the liquid damage and the condition of the logic board.
Understanding the urgency of the situation, our skilled technicians promptly initiated the repair process. With their expertise, they diligently replaced the keyboard and thoroughly cleaned the liquid-damaged logic board. Thanks to our commitment to efficiency, we were able to complete the repair in just under £300 on the same day, allowing the customer to regain the functionality of their MacBook in a timely manner.
To ensure a seamless experience, we collected the MacBook from the customer’s location in the morning, around 11 am. After completing the repair, we promptly returned the device to the customer, fully restored and ready for use.
