How to Turn Computer Screen Upside Down

It is evident that modern technology has taken personalisation to the next level by expanding features and functions for users, allowing them to choose their preferences from a wide range of options. One of these features include the flipping of your computer display; a function you can customise from the settings as per your liking.

With features like portrait and auto-rotate in the cell phones, users can freely flip their screens for various purposes. However, the same features can be enjoyed on your Windows PCs and laptops which is good news for creatives who get to analyse their works from all angles. Let’s see how you can turn your computer screen upside down.

How to turn your computer display upside down?

Windows 10 users can right-click on the desktop and select the “Display Settings.” Once the window opens, you can scroll down to “Display Orientation” and click on it. The options would present 4 modes including, portrait, landscape, portrait (flipped), landscape (flipped). You may select the one you want and click on “keep changes” in the next step.

The screen would revert to the original mode in 15 seconds until you keep the same settings by clicking on “keep changes.”

Windows 7 users can right-click on the desktop and select “Graphics Options.” And choose “Rotation” to flip screens. However, you may only be able to get an upside down Landscape image. Neither the “Portrait” mode would give the upside down view nor would you get a straight view like in the Windows 10. You’d instead get a right and left-side portrait view. You’ll get 4 angles to select from. The 90 degrees and 270 degrees would give the right and left-side portrait, meanwhile 180 degrees will turn the normal landscape view upside down.

Final Thoughts:

This article showed you how to turn your computer screen upside down. You can change the display view by choosing any of the 4 modes described above. So, Windows 10 and Windows 7 users can flip their screen-views as they deem fit.
