It’s no secret that laptops, computers and mac suffer when it’s hot, and given the miniaturization and compactness of laptops, they are particularly affected by these temperature rises. Here are some useful tips to avoid premature wear of components, the hellish noise of fans and repeated blue screen and crashes of our laptops.

Choose a hard, flat surface

We like to have a last look on the Internet before going to bed but our laptop only very slightly appreciates being put on a blanket or a mattress. The heat dissipation is extremely poor and it is better to place it on a hard and flat surface or on a ventilation system. It is also valid on the knees!

Equip yourself with a ventilated support

Well known to gamers, the ventilation system that is placed under the laptop or gaming PC has two advantages: it allows you to raise your laptop and is equipped with a super speed fan. What keep your machine a little cooler! 

Clean the Vents

If your Laptop heats up more and more it is likely that the dust is the cause. It is sometimes necessary to obtain a bomb dry air to slip into the vents of your computer, laptop or mac to clear the dust housed inside. A vacuum cleaner at minimum power can also do the job but be careful nonetheless not to damage internal components!

 

Clean-up programs that start at startup

The applications that launch at startup of the laptop have the annoying tendency to make the laptop work as soon as it is powered up. Freeing up space or preventing them from launching at startup can reduce the workload of the processor and therefore reduce the heating of the laptop. If nothing helps, you can also restore your computer to its factory condition, the radical solution!

Unplug the charger

It is very important to use original recommended laptop charger. If you use your laptop at home it may be worth keeping it plugged in to avoid running out of battery. But when it is charging the battery heats up much more. Do not hesitate to unplug the charger and use it only when necessary.

Finally, be aware that in addition to reducing the lifespan of some components, if a computer gets hot abnormally automatically clamp performance. It is important to contain the internal temperature cool in order to keep a powerful, healthy and long-life laptop, desktop and mac!
